1) Familiarise yourself with the documentation using the booklet I have prepared for you
Spend some time in your EYFS
Note what you feel about the aspects of pedagogy in the framework I shared - perhaps give each a RAG rating:
- Are relationships prioritised as well as clear boundaries, and how does that reflect in behaviour?
- Does the balance of adult-child led learning seem to be working for the children/
- Are you seeing plenty of play and real experiences - does it feel like quality for the level of development children are currently at?
- Does the learning environment indoors and out feel rich and challenging?
- Are adult interactions high quality?
- Are all adults getting to know children by playing with them?
2) Complete the action plan at the end - come back to the next session ready to share your priorities for development.
